I have repriced all of my items in my Etsy shop for the holidays. It’s super cheap! Not that my jewelry is cheaply made, because it’s not. But I just need to get rid of this stuff. I’m running out of room! lol I have a million beads that I haven’t even used. My craft room is overwhelmed. I have so many hobbies that I want to start on and I can’t because I don’t have room. I got a new free craft table from work and my rooms not even big enough to set it up. I can’t wait til we move to a bigger place! But anywho, check it out…

There are some more things but I don’t have the resources right now to make videos about them.

Pensacola Flea Market

The very first time I tried to sell my handmade jewelry was at the Pensacola Flea Market. I didn’t realize this would be a bad idea until I was already in the middle of it. People that shop at the flea market will try to swindle your prices down to practically nothing, and I know this because I am a flea market shopper occasionally. So I didn’t really make any money off this. I don’t understand how those people that make a living off their boothes do it. I really don’t. Well, at least I have learned a trick or too now…this was like 3 years ago.

My booth at the flea market – Can you tell I was a beginner?? lol

And there’s me and my cute self
So lesson learned from this experience..NEVER SELL PRECIOUS HANDMADE JEWELRY AT THE FLEA MARKET!
Spider Season…Yuck!

Apparently it’s spider season. THEY ARE EVERYWHERE! I hate hate hate spiders more than probably anything. They have taken over my art studio because it is on the bottom level of our house and has big cracks around the back door. So unfortunately for my boyfriend, I have moved my Etsy shop supplies into the living room so I can work without getting crawled on! Ewwww! Gives me goose bumps just thinking about it. Plus I get to watch the big screen hehe.

Sometimes I think I have too many beads..but then…I am always finding myself wanting more or “needing” something new and different lol.

Huge Bag of Goodies still to be added to my Etsy Shop.

Unfinished jewelry I probably won’t finish…

Etsy items ready to be bought and shipped out.

This is how I package all my items…just like a present.

Very simple design but I think it says alot. And it was easy to make and inexpensive too.

Most of my items get shipped in these FREE U.S.P.S. boxes.
Oh yes I said FREE. If you go to http://collectibles.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?zi=1/XJ&sdn=collectibles&cdn=hobbies&tm=36&gps=59_562_1127_817&f=00&su=p445.92.150.ip_&tt=2&bt=0&bts=0&zu=http%3A//shop.usps.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/TopCategoriesDisplay%3FstoreId%3D10001%26catalogId%3D10152 you can get free U.S.P.S. boxes in different sizes. They come in packs of 10. Who knew right?

Oh wow, I haven’t posted in so long. I promise I’m going to start updating this more often! I’ve just been so busy with work and Etsy and my boyfriend.
Anywho, I have a new Etsy Shop!! Ebay was just too dang expensive with the fees and all. Ebay buyers seem to always bargain your prices down too, they don’t realize how much effort, creativity, time, and money goes into handmade crafts. I was selling my art for super cheap and wasn’t making a profit at all. So I have found my home at Etsy and that’s where I will be staying. I love it!!!
This is the shop it’s self : http://www.jenniferbirge.etsy.com
Here are some things from the Shop:

I have over 50 items on Etsy so far. But I’ve just begun. It’s so frickin cheap and I’m addicted already!! I have alot more to add still.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to boost sales on Etsy?
