About Jen
I have been an artist for about 12 years now. Mostly I create jewelry and paint acrylic on canvas, but I appreciate anything artsy and craft oriented. Orignially based in Fairhope Alabama, I recently moved to Huntsville Alabama. While living in Fairhope, I was a member of the Fairhope Street Artists, Artists by the Bay, and the Eastern Shore Art Center in Fairhope. I am currently a member of the Huntsville Art League. My artistic talent was noticeable at a very young age. As I grew older, my art grew more advanced and developed its own style. I learned almost everything I know about painting from my mentor, Bill Harrison. I feel that I express myself better thru visual art then words. I’m so thankful that artistic expression is one of the few things that flourish with time. My art is an expression of the intelligence I’ve gained through experience, knowledge, spirituality, mistakes, impressions, curiosity and inspiration. I appreciate that art is like a person—always evolving, but containing certain unchanging integrity unique to each artist.
“Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep.” – Scott Adams

hey Jen:
ya know…I may have jumped the gun on my comment about your work being “up on the internet”. I suppose if I took the time to actually see the link in your blog…
Anyway, I love your style and you aren`t afraid to use colors! Me on the other hand, I am color retarded I think…or maybe I just enjoy black & white. If they had a counselling program for “people who fear coloring” then I would probably join
Azam Ali as “pilates” music? Wow…thats wrong on many levels. I am going to go turn on some Celine Dion and cry in the corner now…
